Lachie Stewart, pictured, started the race and handed out the Winners prizes. Lachie is a Scottish former distance runner, and an inductee in the Scottish Sports Hall of Fame. Lachie's athletic career saw him win Gold in the Men's 10,000m race for Scotland at the 1970 Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh.
