You don’t need to be 1st, 2nd or 3rd to win a prize at the Barrhead 10k Race!  There are loads of Spot Prizes!  

So what exactly are 'Spot Prizes'?  Every year many local businesses are kind enough to donate a variety of goods to be used as ‘Spot Prizes’ and this year is no different.  On the day, volunteers give out vouchers at random to runners that have completed the race.  The runner can then present their voucher at the Race Registration Area and collect a prize.

Once again, local businesses are coming up trumps and showing how much they support their local community by generously donating goods for these prizes. Here are the companies and individuals who have very kindly given for the 2009 race ....
